bullet Stolen Vehicle Recovery System (SVRS)

In broad terms, vehicle tracking entails the installation of a small unit into a client’s vehicle, through which the control centre can communicate and determine the area in which the vehicle is located.. The control centre can switch off the vehicle’s engine, and activate an onboard gsm transmitter using specialised direction finding equipment, operated by ground and (air- based) recovery teams.

THE KEY ADVANTAGE OF OUR SYSTEM

GPS technology is unsuitable as a vehicle recovery communication medium. When the vehicle is parked in a city, for example, the accuracy of GPS positioning makes it possible to pinpoint the location of the vehicle.

As a result of the above inherent weaknesses, our recovery module uses a digital transmitter as the communication medium. Digital signals are transmitted at a low frequency, and as a result, we are able reach places such as underground car parks, and locked garages. We are able to pinpoint the location of the vehicle, 24 hours a day.
