INTERSAT FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (FMS)

RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS

The web-based application is best used by larger clients or those who have a permanent Internet connection. It is also recommended for those clients, who are likely to travel extensively, and who need to monitor their fleets while traveling.

REPORTS GENERATED FROM FMS

Reports may be set up per vehicle or per group of vehicles, as set up by the client.

i. TRIP REPORT

Reports are created giving details of vehicle trips and show the distance traveled, time traveled, maximum speed attained, and odometer readings and times at the start, and the end, of each journey.

ii. ALERT REPORTS

This report shows all excess speed, harsh braking, over-idling violations, no-go area violation.

iii. ASSET LIST

Gives an overview of all vehicles and their latest positions ,and odometer readings.

iv. DISTANCE TRAVELLED/ HOURS WORKED

Shows a summary of each vehicle daily data, giving details of number of stops, time spent driving and hours worked.

v. TIME AT LOCATION

This provides an analysis of the amount of time each vehicle spends stationary, with the ignition off.

vi. TIMED EVENTS

This report gives a reminder of all upcoming events which will require action, based on pre – determined odometer readings.
